Eli is a teenager, student, artist and climate activist.This film was directed and produced as Ual MA Documentary Film Graduate project in 2019. It tells the story of the 15 Year old from London fighting for climate justice. While struggling to stay on top of things with homework and exams, running from meetings to strikes, trying to squeeze in a bit of family life in the evenings, he makes plans to travel the world amongst hundreds of thousands of students. To rally the people, to protest on the streets and wherever he needs to, for change and against the fear of not having much of a world left to live in when he grows up.Whose Future? Documentary Short | 2022 | Sharing for nature - Maggie's storyHow can one Individual make a difference for nature?Maggie's house sits on the side of a busy road on the outskirts of Llanelli in South Wales. With it's modest white walls, small front door and narrow front yard, it could easily be missed while driving by. The back of the house however, reveals a magnificent, rich, wild garden, full of magic, wonder and wildlife. For 20 years, Maggie has nurtured this garden, growing many different heritage plants and saving their seeds. During the Lockdown in 2021, she decided she wanted to help people. To grow their own food, to connect to other people and to fight the worries of the world by helping nature on their doorsteps.Maggie created the "incredible seed library". A free, online Facebook group where she offered to send people the seeds she had saved. Within two weeks, her offering had grown from the 20 seeds she had saved, to over 100 different seeds that people send her, wanting to help and be part of the community. Now, one year later, the first volunteers, the "seed guardians", grow and save particular seeds for the purpose of stocking up Maggie's library.Role: Self-shooting Director | Producer for RSPB

We are sitting in a Café down the road from Bethnal Green tube station in East London. The walls have as many colours as the mugs, the plants and the paintings on the wall. Val and her friend Sylvia are having tea here every Tuesday after the session."Why we dance" was produced in collaboration with Matteo Villanueva-Brandt in 2018. The four-minute short film follows "Spin off“, an over 55s dance group run by the Dance company and charity Green Candle Dance Company Ltd. Documentary Short | 2022 | Planting for nature - A story from AberystwythWhat is a hedge wedge and how does it help wildlife?The outdoor space around the Penparcau community centre is a calm, green refuge, for wildlife as well as people. Volunteers meet up regularly to create more space for nature and more shelter for wildlife. The community is part of TirCoed, who supports people connecting with land (Tir) and woods (Coed) by delivering outdoor training, learning and wellbeing programmes Their newest edition is a hedge wedge.A hedge wedge is a block of hedging plants for those who don't have the space for a long hedge, ideal for a corner or edge of a garden. It can be planted as a triangle or rectangle of hedging plants such as hawthorn, dogwood, field maple or hazel. Best planted between November and February, it creates a dense, food-rich, safe place for wildlife such as nesting birds.Actions like these especially in urban areas make a huge difference for local wildlife and can be a crucial lifeline. About

ABOUT MEI am a filmmaker and actor with a background in Art and Design based in the UK. I've worked in the film and media industry for over 7 years, initially alongside completing degrees at the University of the Arts London (LCC, M.A.) and the University of Cambridge (Pembroke College, MPhil). I work to increase and support bold, young, female voices in film and storytelling. I have recently co-founded the production company Foundling Films, which completed its debut short film "Foundlings" (2025) earlier this year. My research interests include conservation and nature recovery, youth activism and gender equality.Other projects include short documentary "Eli and Anita", supported by the One World Media Fellowship, as well as independent theatre and screen acting work.
